What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes stress reduction and relaxation. It is also thought that it promotes healing as it increases the output of biochemicals into the blood stream which support the relaxation response. Triggering the relaxation response has been studied and researched in great detail by modern science. Being in a relaxed state increases the functioning of the immune system, decreases stress and tension, alleviates pain and chronic condtions, ameliorates insomnia, improves heart health, and just makes us feel better!

About Me

I am orignally from Germany, moved here in 1991, and it feels to me as if the Pacific Northwest is my soul home. The moment I set foot on Seattle ground, saw the sky, smelled the Puget Sound, I knew I had come home. The Pacific Northwest is paradise to me, and I am very fortunate to be living here, and to cater to my main passion: making a positive difference. I enjoy sharing my excitement for living a creative life, being with family, friends, animals, and I love sharing my enthusiasm for teaching alternative approaches to health care.
My background is Reiki Master through the International Center for Reiki Training, doctorate degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Certified TimeLine Therapy Practitioner, and B.A Applied Linguistics

 

Reiki is a complementary approach to health care, and it is beneficial in a variety of situations such as a tool for health care providers, for interested parties to include parents, teachers, foster parents, caregivers, or anyone who wants to learn and apply the gentle method of Reiki for self-care and to help others.

Reiki has also been known to assist individuals with stress and anxieties, or help with faster recovery after surgery.

 

Rates for Sessions:

$50 for a 60 minute session at my office
$65 for a 60 minute session at your house (mobile Reiki)

 

Tuition for Reiki Certification Training:

$100 for Reiki I 
$150 for Reiki II

My mission is to introduce Reiki to as many people as possible for recovering and healing. I accomplish this through teaching Reiki, offering sessions at my practice, through my Mobile Reiki Clinic, and through volunteering my services whenever there is a need.
